Sinus day here in drearyville, but I can't afford to let it get to me or I may as well have flushed that $50 down the john. Still, difficult to think with brain-fuzz. (You know you're in trouble when you can't type your own email address without mistakes--not once, not twice, but FOUR freaking times. *sigh*
Gwynlyn, I know what you mean! I really had hit a wall last night, but this morning, the fog did clear. I didn't manage to get the query off--hubby had a hip doc appointment that took a long time, but I love his doctor and I am confident the surgery will go well in the new year.
I despaired about the $50 as well. Did I throw it away? But I do have hope. And the truth is, the first fifty and synopsis need to be good, the rest can be fixed after the fact.

I think I may have a solution to my problems with the story--so glad I didn't throw out the earlier scene cuts!
Stay tuned... goals are simple for today: continue building story arcs and character growth arcs, play with poster board, send out query to agent.
