Glad to see you're making such good progress. Beginnings can be tough.
I'm trying to power on to the end after spending a day writing my synopsis and sharpening up my first 50 pages for a raffle I won.
I'm almost up to 37K now, but have to go north tomorrow for the weekend. MIL is turning another corner in her battle with dementia. Such an evil disease. I'll talk to you next week.
And C., good luck with the analysis of your characters. That's a great tool. I wish I could do it before I write the first draft, but my brain goes blank.

Safe trip, Kate.

When younger, I worked in a nursing home and saw dementia steal lives. There is litte medication that helps, but we now have something to make our eyelashes thicker. Doesn't speak well of our values, does it.

I'm hoping to have my 50 done in time to take to Laurie this weekend when I go down--God willing and Hubble doesn't get worse--for her grandbaby's shower.
Haven't given much thought to the synopsis--one of the cons of being a pantser. I know the story, but making sure every arc is in place and understandable to someone beside me can be difficult.

We'll be here when you get back. Feel free to dump if you need to--that's part of the process too.

My MIL had ALZHEIMERS and we live in fear of it hitting here with my DH... I'm constantly double checking his memory. Such an AWFUL DISEASE.

Gwynlyn: glad you are doing well and for you too Kate, so happy you have the muse going on.

Me. Well. Hmmm. Lot of time spent reading a craft book and dissecting what I have written. More later.
I did what I planned to do...

Tomorrow I will make a few new notecards, play with my poster board and sharpies and pray for a cool solution to my problem.

But I LOVE MY PEEPS... oh I have to write this story.
